Private chef for hire. Diving head first into this new world and loving it.

On august 15th of 2017 I decided to leave the career I knew. I had been selling software for the better part of 10 years and I knew that I had to make a change. I was making great money, but wasn’t feeling satisfied in the work. I have always wanted to create something. Instead of being a “mouthpiece” for someone else, I wanted to use my creativity, my hands, and my mind to build something of my own. So, I made the change.

Since that time our household income may have shrunk, but the level of happiness has increased exponentially. I know that sounds super cliche, but its true. It’s not all sunshine, but I feel so much more content and fulfilled after making this decision. And the best part is, I get to cook as a career. I get to do what I would do for free, but get paid for it! So awesome.

The journey to becoming a chef doesn’t happen overnight. I know I have a long way to go before I feel confident even calling myself a chef, but there is only one way to get there, cook for people. And that is exactly what I am doing.

Currently, I am busy hosting private dinners, organizing pop-ups, and culinary adventures. I am always open to new opportunities so don’t hesitate to reach out.

I am so fortunate to have the best family that allows me space and time needed to build this business. I am beyond grateful for the sacrifices that they have made to allow me the opportunity to chase this dream.

Thanks to all of you that continue to follow along on this journey. Trust me when I say the best is yet to come.

Cheers

Andy
